Nowadays, it seems that more and more people are getting hooked with anything K — or for those who may be unaware, anything Korean. From KPop groups like BTS, Blackpink, EXO down to KDrama actors like Lee Min Ho, Park Seo Joon, and Hyun Bin, well, you can just name it and people will surely have a lot to say about them.
While the whole Hallyu wave has taken the world by storm, it is no longer a surprise that many teens just can’t help but ride with the bandwagon. This Brazilian girl named Emanuel is no different from many girls her age who can’t help but swoon over her favorite Korean celebrities.
So, for her birthday, her brother, Vitor de Souza decided to surprise her with a Korean-themed birthday party. Only that, he may have been short on time when it comes to researching on her favorite K-stars.
Because on the photos uploaded during her birthday celebration, it wasn’t any of the famous South Korean celebrities that was featured in the backdrop photo and the mini photos on the cake but Kim Jong Un himself, the famous leader of North Korea.
In the photos of the party uploaded by Vitor on his Facebook account, the backdrop photo shows a smiling Kim Jong Un with a party hat on his head with matching balloons on the edges of it. Also, a cake is seen on their table with photos of Kim in different poses.
The said post quickly gained a lot of attention because netizens just can’t help but find the birthday surprise hilarious.
In his post, Vitor honestly confessed that because he doesn’t know these Korean bands, he just decided to make the most famous Korean themed party that he knew.
Well, maybe after this hilarious celebration, Vitor will now find time to make a little research on these groups his sister is obsessing with.
