The man who started a shootout in Cavite City which resulted in the demise of a member of the Philippine National Police Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) has been discovered to be involved in a road rage incident four years ago.

The suspect, identified as Methusael Cebrian has gone viral on social media in 2016 for allegedly intimidating a couple using his weapon.

In the video, it showed Cebrian holding his weapon despite the election gun ban while having an argument with the uploader “Catherine”.

After being surrounded, Cebrian denied that he’s pointing his gun at Catherine.

The video has been recirculated on social media and Cebrian received unusual support from some netizens.

It’s not yet known if the netizens who watched the video were aware of the real identity of Cebrian, who also didn’t survive the shootout that happened last Friday.
