Angelica Panganiban was surprised by the gift she received from Probinsiyano Star Coco Martin.
On the set of their upcoming movie, “Love or Money” Coco told Angelica to open the box containing the expensive gift.
While unboxing, Angelica was surprised and got nervous at the same time after she saw the item with the Gucci logo on it.
The box contained a Gucci tableware set worth P15,000 according to the company’s website.
“Baka may kapalit ito, hindi ito pwede ngayon,” Angelica quipped.
“Wala akong masabi. Kinakabahan ako sa kapalit,” she also said.
Coco then joked that he’s going to ask Angelica to pay for it.
In the said movie, Coco and Angelica would play the leading roles about a couple that decided to leave each other to achieve their ambition.
Both Coco and Angelica became controversial last year because of their statements in support of ABS-CBN.
However, Coco’s statement became more popular after he expressed his concern about how he would support his family without his job as an actor.
“Para tayong batang kinotongan at pagkatapos, kapag nagkita kayo, anong i-eexpect mo? Kasi ito na ‘yung pagkakaton natin. Wala na tayong trabaho, anong iniingatan natin? Ako honestly, wala na akong trabaho. Anong ipapakain ko sa pamilya ko? Kapag ang pamilya ko kinanti, kahit sino ka pa, lalaban ako,” said Coco.
